There is a correction to be made regarding the courses being offered at the above-noted
educational. The Basic Stewards Course is actually a "Grievance Administration and
Preparation" course that is designed for executive members, shop stewards and
activist that are currently doing grievance work in your locals. The course was designed
in the Atlantic Region and is to help members to properly identify, prepare and administer
grievances as well as to provide an overview of the grievance procedure from the floor to
arbitration. Grievance officers and shop stewards are encouraged to attend. |
