Welcome to the official website of Breton Local 117.
We are the Cape Breton representative of CUPW, the Canadian
Union of Postal Workers, and include members from the Sydney, North Sydney, Sydney
Mines, New Waterford and Glace Bay installations.
Our presiding executive includes Gordie MacDonald,
President (595.0533); Leland Jessome, Vice President; Robert Chant, Secretary-Treasurer
(595.0532); Dan McCormick, Recording Secretary; and Greg Standing, Senior Shop Steward.

About this Site ...
This site was created to keep our membership aware of the latest
news and happenings involving the Cape Breton area offices. It will also be used to keep
the general public up-to-date on matters of concern to our union, on the local, regional
